Hi, I’m Rachel, a Licensed Massage Therapist and Bodyworker. I am a graduate of The Healing Arts Institute in Fort Collins, Colorado. My passion for massage & bodywork begins with the fulfillment I get in helping others. I want to help you connect to your body, listen to it, manage physical pain, and help you with your posture. My training in neuromuscular therapy, deep tissue, prenatal massage, lymphatic drainage, and trauma touch therapy techniques allow for a unique bodywork session customized for your needs. Through my training in trauma touch therapy, I work well with clients who are dealing with anxiety, emotional, or physical trauma. I work best with clients that don’t mind working during their session, so together, we can make change in your body. Massage & bodywork require consistency to be effective. This means we should enjoy each others’ company, even in silence. Other than massage, some of my favorite things in life include: spending time with family and friends, getting out in nature, enjoying live music, and dancing. The people who will enjoy working with me will probably be open-minded and enjoy building good professional relationships. This helps us both enjoy our time and get great work done.
More About me
What To Expect
When you arrive at the Longmont Commons you will find parking on the South and West sides of the building. Once inside the building, you will see a digital directory on the wall to help guide you. There will be stairs and an elevator to your left, when you you get to level 2 you will want to take the hallway to the right, a little over halfway you will find Suite 232, Holistic Harmony. Please wait in the waiting room and I will meet you in at your appointment time. We will start every session with a conversation about what you are looking to get out of your session that day. We will touch base on how your body is feeling, and how you are feeling emotionally. My approach for massage is a blend of deep tissue, neuromuscular therapy, and Swedish. This allows for a therapeutic but relaxing session. I will listen to you and your body for your wants and needs during your session and customize the session appropriately.
